Month 1
Energy Market Fundamentals

How power and gas markets work, why prices behave the way they do, and how cross-commodity economics drive trading decisions. Merit order dispatch, spark spreads, carbon costs, shape risk.

Project: Price Curve Simulator. 7-phase build from random noise to mean-reverting OU processes with merit order dispatch.

Month 2
Trading Systems and P&L

Position management, mark-to-market P&L, delta exposure, risk reporting. Then market microstructure, forward curve construction, and Value at Risk.

Projects: Position & P&L Engine (7-phase build with hexagonal architecture). Forward Curve Builder integrated with your P&L engine.

Month 3
Advanced Topics and Capstone

Day-ahead and intraday power markets (EPEX, N2EX, M7), energy derivatives (swaps, options, Black 76, Greeks). Capstone integrates everything into a working mini-ETRM with risk dashboard.

Project: Auction clearing algorithm, options pricer, and integrated trading platform with Streamlit dashboard, Docker, and CI/CD.
