Systems
The trading, operations and reporting core. Audit-grade by construction. Replayable to any date. Built by the people who built it at Shell, Centrica and Limejump.
Audit-grade by construction
Rules first
A state that breaks a rule cannot be committed. The system refuses it and says why.
Replay to any instant
Books, positions and P&L recompute exactly as they stood on any date. No clock, no guesswork.
Three layers of P&L
Fast for the trader. Human for the desk head. Accurate for finance and the regulator. One source.
Regulatory reporting falls out as a by-product. EMIR and REMIT filings come from the same data as the P&L.
Who it is for
- A desk born on a divestiture, with a stack to replace in months.
- An optimiser scaling automation, whose record must now stand up to a regulator.
- A utility replacing a trading stack that no longer ties out.
- A new entrant that must satisfy European lenders on day one.
Work
Shell. Real-time position and P&L across six commodity desks: power, gas, LNG, carbon and coal. Spreadsheets replaced by one platform with one data lineage. EMIR and REMIT filings generated from system data. Still running.
Centrica. Trade processing at hundreds of thousands of data points a minute. Real-time analytics across trading, risk and settlement for one of Britain's largest desks.
Limejump. Day-ahead trading automation on EPEX SPOT and Nord Pool for the whole floor. Exchange integration built from scratch, in production, with live settlement.
Capture Energy. Two production bills reconstructed from the client's own records, to test a proposed billing platform before it was built.
A sensor data platform. A terabyte-scale production database measured live, cut by 87 percent with no downtime, and the cloud bill halved. The cost model left as reviewed code.
How it is bought
A fixed price for a defined outcome. The outcome is written down first. The price does not move.
An architect-led programme. We lead the build with your team, from the first design decision to the last cut-over.
The foundation is open. Morpholog and Glasshouse are published so that a stranger can verify what we say about a record.
